Hi Mutt,
Thanks for responding to my first posting. Sorry I took so long to respond. I'm new to this stuff (blogging - if that's the proper name for it) and I'm still learning the mechanics of just figuring out how it works. My spouse has been diagnosed as BPD, but I don't think that she was informed by the psychiatrist (which she quit going to see). I only found this out because my recent counselor requested the notes from the psych which contained the diagnoses. To answer your question, the reason why I joined was because I wanted to be in contact and communicate with people in the same situation. Plus I don't feel guilty about sharing things with others that don't know who I am and I don't know who they are, i.e., going behind my spouses back. Not too many people know about my wife's condition, though family members can see that something is wrong with her. We've been through enough counselors (we go separately and sometimes together for counseling) but every time the counselor says something that she doesn't like, even though it is in a nice way, she stops going to counseling. She will say stuff like the counselor "ran me over with a bus". Right now she's not going to counseling, just me. Well, thanks for listening (or I guess reading) about my situation. I hope that I didn't overwhelm you with too long of a reply to your simple question "... what brings you to bpdfamily". Also, it may take me a long time to reply (sometimes maybe several days) because I need to do it when my wife isn't around. Thanks again for welcoming me to the bpdfamily. Take care!

No rush, we're not going anywhere.
You're right, you're alone, it helps to talk to people that can relate with you. See you again soon.
