Anger Management For Everyone  | Noah Elkrief

I had some doubts when I started viewing this, but after the speaker gets past a rather long introduction, her makes some very insightful comments about why we react in anger. The last part of the video is a little think - but all things considered, this is a very worthwhile watch.

What do you think?

Noah Elkrief is a bright guy. He worked on the trading floor at Goldman Sachs in New York, traveled around Europe as a corporate strategy consultant based out of London, and was accepted into the prestigious Mensa society.

Thanks for posting this video and your thoughts about the presentation.
It was worth sticking with his presentation. I might hot have without the slight push and commentary to see it through. After hearing this presentation, I sought out and listened to others, same guy, new topics. There is a uniform, yet undeniably sensible theme to all of the topics. It almost sounds like a redux and repackaging of a number of spiritual, yet totally honest method of self introspection. Maybe Buddhist or other well known mindsets. None the less, it was, in spite of it’s simplicity, very helpful. Well worth the listen!
Thank you for posting!

Hmmmm. Sometimes anger is a sign of health. Eg when a significant person withholds (eg silent treatment on xmas day, birthdays, ie days designed for maximum hurtful impact), I feel hurt, but also anger. I don't act out the anger, but it signals to me that something unacceptable has happened - that this relationship is not a respectful or loving one. I am so grateful for this kind of anger, which I see as springing from a degree of healthy self esteem. But I agree with him that some anger is caused by faulty logic or false beliefs.
