"Love is an untamed force. When we try to control it, it destroys us. When we try to imprison it, it enslaves us. When we try to understand it, it leaves us feeling lost and confused."
Paulo Coelho

Just curious how many of us find the above quote useful and how love has impacted our daily struggles of detaching from a BPD partner.

Powerful quote, Ananass!

How has this idea of love impacted you in your detachment process?

BPD is a serious mental illness, loving someone with the disorder and trying to make it work with them shows us what we need to change with ourselves, very painful but the path to a better way of life.
It has been said that we need to love ourselves before we can love another.
