Xw use to tell me my sister would deserve to be beat by her husband

My Xw wife said the most horrible things about my family and sister. Right now my sister is going through a terrible time with her husband, very abusive, bad alcoholic, it has been bad for years and getting worse. Xw said my sister would deserve to be beat, deserves to abuse she gets. What kind of a personality is that? Xw was extremely abusive, and viewed me as weak. Do abusers hate abused people? My sisters husband is typical abuser, apologize, never do it again, fix it with hollow promises and flowers and start the cycle all over. My Xw was vicious, never said sorry and treated me and talked to me like I was a child, I deserved to be abused. Are these 2 different kinds of abusers? My bro in law seems to be the text book abuser More so than my Xw who seems very content that I deserved to be abused. Zero remorse ever.
