Hi Concreterose678, welcome to the group
Never did I realize the extent of their bpd until now.
Fill us in -- did something change recently? Are you seeing new behaviors?
I have had increased panic attacks and my income is dwindling because of them.
You're not alone there. Many members here also cope with the impact of a BPD partner on finances.
Is the issue more a spending/budgeting issue, or your partner wanting you not to work, or something else?
I ve started to initiate boundaries however they complain and refuse to do anything to resolve their issues
Oddly, that makes sense to me. A common response of many pwBPD to the partner making changes is a phenomenon called an
extinction burst. Take a look at the workshop when you have a minute -- do you think that could be going on?
My mental health has taken a severe hit and idk what to do.
It's good that you can recognize the impact on your own mental health. For your relationship to have a chance, as counterintuitive as it may sound, you need to focus on yourself and getting yourself healthy. Otherwise, you won't be in a great place to take the lead in initiating positive change.
Have you ever considered therapy or counseling for yourself? Might be worth looking into, as additional support adjunct to this group
Looking forward to hearing more of your story;
