does anyone have a solid skype communication plan set up?

The skype communications have always been a disaster and a source for BPDxw to interfere, coach and manipulate any communication between my DH and his kids.
Lately she does not even come online anymore at the appointed time but remains "invisible" leaving my husband guessing wether he gets to talk to his kids or not.
I believe we need a complete overhaul of it (since it was set up when the kids were barely 6). The kids are now almost 11 and there are many things that are not going well.
Looking for ideas and suggestions on how people on here have managed to set up a solid plan via court to have skype / phone communication with the kids.
What has worked for you?

Hi SWow.
I can't say that we have a solid skype plan in place. I recently returned from a 12 day vacation with my sons, and I can attest that the Skype was difficult to coordinate with a 3 hour time zone difference and vacation lack of schedule. I'd say, if your husband has regular visitation and the kids are older than 5 or 6, keeping it simpler is probably better. However, if you only have limited visitation or young children, then getting the Skype written into the court order takes on increased importance. Otherwise, it will be difficult to enforce compliance.
