I'm really conflicted on this.   Receiving this 5 weeks after she left kind of picks at the healing  scab.    But reading her giving a coherent explanation (although i receive the brunt of her blame) is a first.

I can really understand feeling conflicted, WhichWay. You don't need to take action on this. I recommend letting yourself process your feelings first.

What are you feeling besides conflicted?

There's anger that it has taken 5 weeks to be offered an apology and an explanation.

There's the hurt as her Contact has reopened the healing, however minimal it was.   She walked out 5 weeks ago with barely any contact (1 message saying "I'm sorry".     Then this email today.

There's disappointment that although she still declares her love for me she did not say she misses me.

Hi WhichWaysUp,

I think that feeling angry is normal, I just wanted to say that she did display empathy. Some member's ex's display less empathy than your ex, they didn't receive an apology.
