Good for you!  I am clapping my hands that you stood up for yourself.

So did I.   My BPD friend was whining, complaining, calling me at 6 in the morning, and I would ask her to please call me "later" and she would call me 10 minutes later at 6:10 in the morning!  She used every push/pull method in the book, never apologized and like you then she'd cut me off, no explanation, disappear, and reappear, and we... .(like you) would start all over again.

She still text messages me!

I have had enough.   Someone once told me that if you hang around confused people you will get confused;   therefore, I am cutting off this "friend" FOREVER.

I would listen as she whined and complained (even though I politely requested she stop) for a half hour at a time sometimes several times a day... .certainly several times per week,  and she would do monologue after monologue.

She claimed "victimhood" in every way and used it to her advantage.   Not REALLY... .her mother left her $100,000 of income per year and a paid for house.

He behavior was rubbing on to me;  I had conquered my own demons and I was relapsing hanging around her.

A few times when I needed someone to talk to I tried to get some attention from her; she would ALWAYS change the subject back to herself... and once I pushed and told her I needed help and she got feisty like how dare you because the world is HER STAGE and my job is to provide full attention to HER and ALL TIMES.

She projected things on to me a lot also.  There's no point in talking to her as she twists things around... .so that's it.

In other words I have no more sympathy for these people.   I ... .that is to say we
"nons" are the ones who actually deserve the sympathy.   We need to stand up to BPD people and if more of us did, then they couldn't behave the way that they do.

My friend has a whole list of people she calls up every day to whine at and then reports all of their life issues to the rest of us.  She must spend 90% of her time moaning to these people about her "awful" life.

DONE.   NO SYMPATHY.   They deserve whatever they get.
Thanks for your post;   it made me feel so not isolated.
Good luck.
