Hi Ann53
Welcome to bpdfamily. I'm glad you found us. I'm sorry you've been dealing with this so long, it's exhausting coping with your sons drama. Members here are in similar situations to yours, you are not alone.
What behaviours are you dealing with Ann53? I hear you, many of us feel we are to blame, learning here and about metal health disorder has helped me gain perspective and a journey to healing through me making changes, a better life for all. I call it getting unstuck and small steps work for me and my DD.
Do you have family or friends you can talk to?
Big hug

Hi, Ann53,
I, too, am new here and trying to get some help. This is the first message I have replied to and would like to make a suggestion about a book that helped me tremendously, but I don't know if it is allowed. Do you know if there is a way I can give you the name of this book? It gave me information and suggestions, helped relieved a lot of my guilt, explained the relationship between family members.
I understand your situation and feel much empathy. I know so little about BPD but will be willing to share any information I have.
Sincerely
A0802

Hi A0802 - I share books all the time, that helped me, I didn't even think it might not be allowed! I think books are a huge help, every time I run into a dead end I find another one :-)
I would love to hear what book helped you. I can add it to my stack :-)
