Hi there, I'm new so here's my introduction. I think my oldest daughter might have BPD. She's not diagnosed, she doesn't want to be diagnosed and she doesn't see a therapist. I'm a single mom of three. Both my oldest children live by themselves in the same town my youngest and I live in. I have been reading "stop walking on eggshells" and it really hits home. One of the most important things I learned is that I take it all way to personally and that my reactions trigger her to act out. So I really hope I'll do better in the future and that I learn to keep my cool. Thank you for this environment, I'll hope we can all learn a lot from eachother.

Hi Mybestfriend and welcome to bpdfamily, I'm glad you found us

Thought  Bullet: important point (click to insert in post) to the right of your screen are tools and lessons that help us work to improve our relationships, with everyone, not just pwBPD. I'm pleased SWOE hit home for you, we search for those light bulb moments as we learn, have a look at Don't React, Respond with S.E.T tool. Bullet: important point (click to insert in post)

Is your DD working?  It can be hard not to take it personally, how is she acting out?
