BPD Daughter

I am devastated! My daughter has drummed up some lies to tell to make me look like I don't care about her, so she can keep my grandchildren from seeing me. She lies to her husband about my husband and me. She has told me she is "done with you and dad". I am so worried about what she is telling my grandchildren. I don't want them to think I don't love them. Has anyone else dealt with this behavior before? Any tips?

Hi there Turbo
I'm so very sorry to hear about your troubles with your daughter. Trying to cope with BPD behaviours is exhausting and devastating to families. We understand.
When was the last time you saw your grandchildren?
What sort of things do you think are being said to you?
Hugs

Dear turbo, This is such a hard question ,we have been dealing with our d keeping our grandchildren away from us for years off and on. Mostly off when we dare say NO to her. It has broken our hearts and continues to do so. My only advice is stay strong we see our gd weekly now but that could change at any moment . Im stepping back from her and allowing her father to deal with her because of the awful things she has done to us and accused us of . The only reason why we get to see our gd is because of d needs help with daycare . I pray for you and hope things will turn out well . Dont let your d see you sweat, stay strong and stick to your morals sending hugs and prayers

Turbo and Mggt,
I am in the same boat except that my daughter has kept my grandchildren from me for 4+ years. I have been putting up with verbal and physical attacks, lies, belittling, bullying, lack of respect, etc. Don't know what else to do but pray without ceasing which is what I do.
I'm being told that I'm the one with BPD and go see a shrink. Horrible disease.
