What does this dream mean?

Just woke up it's 06.55 UK time.
Had a dream or I would say nightmare last night. I am separated and single as I am in my current circumstances right now. I bump into an ex who I had contacted for advice and support with my recent ex gf of 6 years with BPD which led to break up of our relationship, as the BPD ex found the emails.
The ex ex was coming onto me making passes at me but I wouldn't reciprocate, I didn't feel like it or want it. I didn't even love her like I once did. Its all irrelevant now but in the dream I love my ex with BPD and was trying to reconcile with her like I had tried to do in real life. I am not an expert on dreams or how to interpret or analyse if or how they replicate or their relevance to real life.
Everything now with the ex with BPD is irrelevant but for myself I'm glad I had the dream, it's relevance to my real life has given me peace of mind although it won't change or alter anything. I am pleased I have and I haven't got the feelings for the people I have. It will help me in real life move on alone, as crazy convoluted and surreal as it sounds and reads here.
