Part and parcel of BPD is denial and hence magical thinking,

they are effectively locked into the first four stages of the grief cycle

they are not delusional though ( but it is a tricky division)

Cosplay has become more mainstream over the last several years. Star Wars: The Last Jedi opened yesterday and there’s probably thousands of people dressing up and going to the movie. Do they have a mental illness or do they enjoy their hobby?

The difference i guess is people with BPD change reality to suit there feelings,
while someone who is delusional believes in an alternate reality that is generally not flexible.

She has quite a few, AVPD, PTSD, I think she has BPD.
