hi,i'm new here and i came for some support.
My 36 yr old daughter was diagnosed with BPD about a month ago, although i knew something was wrong long before that.  For me,being around her was,and still is,very difficult.  I was (walking on eggshells) constantly, EVERYTHING was ,and still is,black or white for her, totally right or totally wrong.  (SHE was always right).  No
compromises!  Terrible mood swings constantly,
Quick to anger... .even for the slightest mishap...
I'M TIRED, I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH LONGER I CAN DO THIS!

I am sorry about your situation. I am also new! i have been here not more than a month and my daughter also is 25 years old with BPD and she was diagnosed recently. i feel you and i know how hard your every day life could be. the only experience i can share with you is that you must read books regarding how to handle the situation. the first book was called ( stop walking on egg shells ) that thought me a lot to at least not to let her to walk all over me and because me so much. i learned when to draw the line for her and i learned how we as mothers have to understand we should not take anything personal, just look at it as a little scared girl that is living in fears and darkness. listen to what she says. acknowledge her feelings but yet have all the boundaries that has to be.

good luck and best wishes

Hi Pinacolada1  Welcome new member (click to insert in post)

I join AleMTN welcoming you to bpdfamily. I too am glad you've reached out for help and support. You've been dealing with your daughter's behaviour for a long time, it's no wonder you are feeling tired and exhausted, don't know how much longer you can do this, some parents are in similar situations, you are not alone

How has your DD received the diagnosis, does she recognise, accept her struggles and willing to engage in treatment? Did something happen leading up to the diagnosis, this may help parents understand what's happening right now for you and how they can support you.

Do you have any family, friend support?

We look forward to hearing more from you.

Hi Pinacoloda1

Answering your question,no,no support at all

I am so sorry to hear that you have no support at all, that must be really difficult for you. You will find parents here who are going through the same things as you who can offer you understanding along with help and support. Is your daughter an only child? X
