VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

Then I had a bath and washed my hair, even though I'd already done that in the morning. And I changed the bed sheets, even though they didn't need changing. Because there is nothing like the feeling of getting into clean bed sheets after a nice long soak in the bath. It's a physical comfort that feels like a privilege.

Little things like that are how I will be taking care of myself.

… I've been picking colors, I'm going to do some re-painting… uBPDw took almost all of the furnishings when she left, as it was all hers anyways… we gave all my furniture, from before we got married; to her nephew  … now his ex wife has it all  !

So I so far have found a new dinning room table, I found it at a consignment shop, its one of those bar tables… the high ones, they call it a "pub table"… I bought a new bed, and a new leather couch… and some other "knickknack patty whack" stuff to make the house look different from when she lived here… I found a nice half hull model ship, in a mirror glass case down in Beaufort… a "tug boat"… I bought that and put in on the fireplace  mantel... where she had her "Indian " stuff before... .

I've been looking at new trim… ceiling/floor trim, chair rail… maybe some bead board/wainscot… there is a sports bar and grill uptown, my Son (S28) works there part time… they have this bead board, and chair rail, its like five feet up the wall, from the floor, and is stained dark cherry... its really cool… I'm going to do that in the kitchen and living room : )

… I been doing more cooking for me and my Son (S32 autistic), in my old green crockpot… instead of eating out so much.

… the key is to stay busy… and yes, a nice hot bath, maybe with some "salts"… and nice clean sheets… that's nice : )

Take good care now Bnonymous, and keep posting!
