Hello
Rome2016

I join
Only Human welcoming you to the forum, I'm also glad you've reached out for support and hope you learn as much as I have here these last 4 years.
My DD (dear daughter) spent a year in outpatient therapy at 18 for her eating disorder (no progress) and was finally diagnosed BPD co-morbid at 26 when she hit crisis, hospitalised for self harm. Today following 14 months outpatient DBT, meds she's doing well, she understands and is able to help herself. I recognise the 3 steps forwards you describe, one back, one back, two forwards... it was like sliding doors for us.
We're here walking alongside you, things can get better.
Hope.
