Hi Java,

So sorry to hear and feel your pain.
Can you tell us more about your child?
Many of us can relate.

Do you have insurance to cover therapy?  If so, find someone who is specialized COMPASSION CARE FATIGUE.

If not, do you have access to a SPIRITUAL DIRECTOR - it's not necessary to be a religious person to go into spiritual direction.

Hope this helps.

my daughter is in her 30s moved out of area  hrs away a few yrs ago
sometimes things relatively stable busy with work casual relationships, always dissatisfied often angry... not easy but manageable

other times something triggers she despairs her life wil never be normal
why cant there be long term friendships how lonely she is whats point of living
sometimes listening helps sometimes makes it worse and theres lashing out

starting therapist this week if she follows thru, and re starting with psych group
but past cple of days were a spiral of sadness, anger, despair for her
and heartbreak for me
