Something happened today, something i would never expect from my girlfriend. She was selling some in-game items and it was kinda against the game policy, i knew about it but i didn’t do anything bc she basically didn’t harm anyone and she enjoyed it. Later on some friend of her that she used to play with texted her and called her out for not following the rules of the game. I didn’t know about that and all that my gf told me about this incident is that the girl was jealous and that she was trying to blame my gf. But what she didn’t tell me is that she(my girlfriend) was massively insulting that girl till the point that the girl had to block my girlfriend. After that my girlfriend decided to text her from other accounts and continue bullying. Insults became normal in our relationship bc it was always addressed to me and only, she wasn’t afraid to show her true emotions at the moment but i never expected her to emotionally harm another person who she’s close with, she always avoids conflicts and she’s always afraid to offend other person, that’s what I love about her. But today’s experience left me thinking if it’s just the negative consequence of isolation or there’s something more behind it.

people with bpd traits are hypersensitive to rejection. they are hypersensitive to criticism. they are hypersensitive to someone confronting them or calling them out. they will tend to go on the defensive, sometimes well beyond that.

i suspect thats what youre seeing.
