What are you grateful for ?
«

I'm told that regardless of faith, writing down what you're grateful for each day helps heal. So I'll got first:
I'm grateful for this fabulous forum and the moderators for doing a great job. When I first came here I was suffering from CPTSD and wasn’t as positive as I am today, hence why I want to let moderators (and new users) know this is a valuable resource that works. Just takes time. Big thanks to the moderators who helped me a long time ago and still appear to be working the forum now;
Skip, Turkish, Woolspinner2000, Notwendy
plus the newer ones I don't know e.g.
formerflyer
etc...
So what are you grateful for ? This is a non judgmental forum, I got away with saying I liked James Blunt once
and no one has ever asked me to justify why I think Scary Spice is the best Spice Girl (Posh isn’t posh and Baby’s an adult, so Scary is the only one not hiding anything - if you must know).

Hey
HC
!
Our old wolf, dog and llama team!
Where's the blue parrot?
I am thankful for all those who have made this a safe place for those of us who needed a place to belong. I am also grateful for sunshine after the rain. We have a beautiful sunny afternoon outside of my window.

Great thread to start! I'm grateful for the kind, generous people on this forum. I'm always happy to see a newcomer's first post because I know it means the start of healing.
I'm also thankful for my health, and randomly, my volleyball team. We've lost every game but it's not for lack of trying!
I look forward to practice and games every week. I'm so thankful for supportive leadership at work, a husband I genuinely enjoy spending time with, and my pets.

I am greatdpful for your often dry and offbeat wit, very British. It keeps me entertained and brings a smile to my face.
I greatful to be employed though I sometimes hate my job. I'm grateful for my kids even D9 with her pre-tween attitude. Little Ms. Hangry tonight. "You can't have any pudding until you eat your meat!" Er, broccoli...
I'm also grateful that others seem to see my value where I do not. Like today at work where I did something I thought simple, but it got oohs and aahs. Whatever... work, schmerk. My Yiddisism for the night.

Hi,
I'm grateful for the forum, definitely. The resources here are amazing.
I'm also grateful for: breath, warm meals, my plant, my secure income in a time of crisis (the last 4 months), my counsellor, compassionate friends and strangers, and the sky when it is endless and obscure.
I'm usually on the detaching board but honestly, reading the 'Co-parenting/divorcing' board I felt like I belonged there better, but only cause I could relate to these parents struggles to stay sane (my world as a child). So I'll be grateful to find more answers, too, and maybe join this board
So glad that people 'get it' here!

Nice to see the Dalai Lama is still imparting wisdom on the forum.

I’ll second the dark chocolate and add in cherries.
I see your value
Turk
, you do a great job on here. A big Wolf job.
Poppy2
– totally agree. What happened to Poppy1 ?
pursuingJoy
your optimism is infectious, how do you keep it up. I get you can't keep the volley ball up because you keep losing, but the Joy how do you keep that up ?
Notwendy
, I’m grateful you know who you’re not, that’s always a start.
I’m grateful I was taught the meaning of ‘abundance’. It means a lot.
Also grateful for music , comedy , art

I’m grateful for my health and that every day is an opportunity to start fresh, no matter what nonsense happened yesterday! Got to watch the sun rise today.

I'm grateful for the love and tolerance on this forum - we can paint the sky any colour/color we want and fill it with Parrots and beas, because we are part of the same family and are kind and supporting. This truely is a safe haven on social media and we truely are an awesome tribe (especially me - I'm practising self love
)
Kwamina
good to see you're still flying the boards, I hope your wings have healed. Darn right I’m straight talk’n, I don’t speak that double dutch with forked tongue like the orange man does. I just speak a load of nonsense.
Busybea1116
– I also have a fresh start each day, only in the UK we call it a shower. I also brush my teeth lots - did I mention I talk a load of nonsense ?

Good to see you practicing self-love and you indeed did mention that you talk a whole lot of nonsense!
But that's ok, we appreciate you showing up as your whole
