I need advice.  My daughter texts that she “knows I don’t love her” and I tell her I love her all the time.  She is in emotional pain and I want to help.

Hi Amom, welcome. People often join here when they're in pain from a hurtful relationship -- I think I hear hints of that in your post.

Can I ask, does your D live at home still?

And when she says "I know you don't love me", would you say you:

always
mostly
50/50
rarely

respond with "I love you"?

I ask because skills and tools for communicating with pwBPD (or people with BPD type traits, regardless of a diagosis) are often deeply counterintuitive. If you're up for it, we can talk through some of those skills/tools here, if you feel ready to try some different approaches to see how they go.

Keep us posted on how you're doing, and again, welcome.
