I'm brand new

Hello, first time posting here. I've been married for 12 years, we have 2 young children and our relationship has deteriorated over time. I've found myself lost, confused, constantly second guessing my every move, and feeling very stuck in cement. Upon my request, we joined family counseling. After 3 sessions, our counselor suggested to me my husband may have BPD and recommended the book Stop walking on eggshells and that book has transformed my life by changing my perspective of my husband. That book could have been written about our entire relationship, even though our relationship is mostly kept secret. Now, I'm starting the process of finding myself again and what I want, what makes me happy, and beginning to be a voice for my children again. I'm excited, scared, nervous, and feel a lot of emotions about the beginning of my new journey. I'm a realist and I understand my husband may choose not to join me, but I still love him and I hope he does. One day and one emotion at a time, I step out into a new life.

Hi and welcome
That's good to hear and inspirational. After Eggshells, I liked reading the book
Stop Caretaking the Borderline or Narcissist
which puts the theory into practice.

Welcome, I just moved up to #2 newest
Stop Walking on Eggshells had a significant impact on how I saw things, and just watching the videos on the homepage here made a big difference in our conversation.
