So I couldn’t help but have a good chuckle when the judge spelt it out to the ex. He came to hearing with the typical chaos arriving late then talking over the judge. I sat there stifling laughter when the female judge said in direct terms that if carries on being chaotic he will get nothing out of the equity.

Looks like that’s what he needed to comeback to reality because all of a sudden there’s an accepted offer for the property sale .

I’m glad there are judges who can see through the BS and call it off on the spot.

Tangled,

   I am glad you had a victory in court, and you were further validated, that he is most (if not all) of the issue.

   Enjoy this. Way to go! (click to insert in post)

Sounds like there's a deadline?

Were any other issues resolved at the hearing, or was it focused on financial/real estate stuff?

...

It can be so validating when a third party "gets it" about the challenges we deal with. We feel seen and not alone -- it means a lot.

@Kells76
The hearing was only to deal with assets. I wouldn’t say things got resolved but an ultimatum was issued by the court to reach a an agreement . He was eager to go to court, thinking he would charm the judge with his victim hood but that backfired.
