I guess I must be humorless but I don't get it. Perhaps someone will explain it to me?
My ex's sister made a big point of telling me how "disgusting" it was for someone of their age to be dating someone my age. If that's true, then how can this guy do this?
Or was the ex's sis just mad at her sister and transferring it onto me ?

My ex's mother is too much like her--so sweet on the outside and a twisted, bitter, nasty hit_ underneath. But she's only 15 years older than stbxw--still too old for me.
I couldn't do it myself, but I like the concept. Maybe a sister instead, but in this case they are all nasty also. Oh, well.

Hi Desert. It’s a clever film school attempt to illustrate a fantasy that breaks a societal taboo. This goes all the way back to the ancient Greeks; seducing members of the same family. It’s also a great example of triangulation
(read definition)
.
As we watch this, we forgive the boyfriend as being justified in his reaction. The fact that he has a clear reason for revenge makes him *not* psychopathic in our minds, (meaning he isn’t just seducing the Mother out of impulse.) Our immature reaction to think he’s in control and won’t suffer any bad consequences to his behavior makes us laugh.
His plan works because the Mother has no boundaries- and places her own needs before her daughters (probably the reason her daughter placed her own needs before the boyfriend) Because of this the Mother and the boyfriend are both guilty of emotional incest, but the girlfriend is also guilty as well, by sleeping with her boyfriend’s boss. Emotional incest can be actual sex or covert, as in blurring boundaries with different family members (sister, brother, Mother, Father, cousin, etc)
I wish I could say that this doesn’t happen very often, but it does - and usually with less attractive people and under less attractive circumstances. Just ask Jerry Springer.

if you watch it for the sake of just watching, it's funny... .if you analyze it, no, it's horrible... .laugh... .it's good for you.

My uBPDw's mom used to compete with the daughters for boyfriends when the girls were teenagers. What do you think part of the trauma for this family was? Now the mom's 80ish, suffering some of the ravages of age, and dating a dude about 33 years younger! A family that knew little of boundaries... .
The video was ok... .just brought back some of these memories.

Very true about the emotional incest. Have a family of BPDs and there's LOTS of it going on. Very weird stuff to a non.
The video... .sorry... .funny as hell.

Just a little gross. Great getting back at her though! Go Granny! Is this what you call a May September romance? Mom is a real cougar!
