Have they ever used BPD as an excuse?

Every now and then she feels the need to send me an email stating her feelings.
In the recent one she stated again how she "wasn't treated right" and wasn't "shown the love" she deserved.
She also said how she behaved was "because of a disorder" (which at the time neither one of us knew anything about) so I should have been more loving and patient with her. I didn't respond because it's useless but in the past I have tried to explain that from my perspective at the time her actions were just her being childish.
Oh! She also said a REAL bf who loves his gf would NEVER tell her about her faults! That's just something you NEVER do. You just make her feel loved. Well let me tell ya it's hard to make someone feel love when they at any given moment decide to treat you like the lowest piece of garbage.
She takes this mentality from her parents. Her dad is a total pushover and lets her mom do whatever she wants and treat him however she wants cause "he loves her more than anything." Well that's just not my idea of a healthy relationship so F that s***!
Anyway, I just needed to rant. Thanks for listening guys.

Their idea of unconditional love seems to only run in one direction.
