Can it change from either of these to the next?

The Discouraged Borderline, The Petulant (Angry) Borderline, The Impulsive Borderline,  The Self-Destructive Borderline

Or would it remain on one only.

Yes I believe so, I would say it depends on factors and the enviroment around them as to how they behave
