Hi everyone: I have not been on in a long time about 9 months and am now in a new job, new apartment, and a new start. I had to move out of the place we shared, and it was very cleansing to just put the stuff I had that she gave me on the street.
I worked an event at a local pub and helped sell t-shirts she walked on in, and did a double take seeing me working there I just nodded and kept going because she has said horrible things to me, trashed me in the bars and caused alot of problems with my step-mom and her friend by infiltrating them.
I could not believe she is the person I cared for... . she has no smile in her eyes, and it was sad to sit there with our dog who she will not say hello to... . she had to walk by me all day and I just turned away or looked through her. Just a person I used to know. After four hours I sat with a group of women and listened to the music and realized "OMG I have moved on and have a new life".
it's been three years, and it is good to know that this site and applying the wisdom of everyone has caused me to move on, and I was happy that day... . Sad for the loss but happy that I have new people in my life.

that's great! You sound open to your feelings (sadness over the loss), but not hostage to them! Yay! I know how much work it can take to get to this place. Yay you!
Thanks for sharing your success.

Yes that's what it was... . indifference... . and by the way after using hot yoga to deal with things, and now working a normal schedule I'm going to take the yoga teacher certification course on weekends to give my self a weekend retreat and maybe a cool part-time job.
Also now that I'm doing better I notice alot of my dysfunctional friends are dropping like flies... . cleaning house YAY!
