Forum,

After reading many posts on the forum I've been asking myself why their behavior varies so much. While some people claim they can't get rid of their BPD ex, I'm going through quite the opposite. When we split and I ignored her for two weeks she called one hundred times a day and sent novel length texts. As soon as we got back together she decided to join meetup.com and began hanging out with another guy who ended up being her ex bfs best friend. At the moment, I haven'tt heard anything since February. Another disturbing occurence: the last time we had sex she began crying and started telling me how she always used to tell me she hated being controlled, then proceeded in telling me she actually loved it and needed it. At the end of the relationship she told me I just used her for sex. That was like a knife in the heart, cause all I ever wanted was for her to do me right.

My mind is blown,

She also use to constantly compare our relationship to that of her father and his gf. Her dad ended up commuting suicide while we were together. She saw herself as my destruction? She used to say I reminded her of her dad. Months after the break-up I'm still remembering things she said.

saint,

try and remember that if she has BPD then she has a very severe mental illness.

you are trying to figure out how a crazy person thinks. psychologists and psychiatrists have a hard time doing this, and they are trained in it.

this poor girl's head doesn't work correctly. while whatever she thinks and does makes sense to her, it won't make sense to anybody who isn't crazy.

i know it's hard. i've been there too. but best remedy for you is to go out and start doing some new things, reconnect with freinds and family, try a new hobby. listen to some new music. break the old patterns and start to rebuild.

you can do it. how do i know? because i did it.

she's crazy. you ain't. it's that simple.
