VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

i frist came to this site about 6 months ago, it seemed the post then were all a little diffrent than these days.

maybe its just me but seemed then the post were all about the ex that had just left.

these days seem like post are more about ex making contact.

i know my ex had/has a cycle that always went really high in the spring trally low in the winter

now that fall is almost here will see less of the BPDso leaving and more of them returning/recycling.

will the boards turn more to ppl looking for help living with BPDso

just wondering about these things and what some of you may think or know.

I don't know if it's seasonal, but all these posts about ex wants contacts is just another kick in the nuts to those of us who hears nothing as all from the ex.

It's very painful for me to read those posts so I try to avoid them if possible.

It's like I never existed. That I'm not even worth a thought. I feel absolutely worthless and it's bringing my self esteem to new low

I would be grateful to hear from her. Giving me some kind of validation that I mattered for her.

+1 She was a magician and made a disappearing act in Feb and I'm not important enough after being with her for 8 years and married for 5. I know the feeling.

My STBX always gets more agressive, dysregulated, and blaming starting in Oct that gets worse until the end of Dec. I left or got kicked out by New Year's every year. It's the first year with the replacement, so he's in for a surprise! I'm staying away from her as far as possible this year.

If they contact you its to make you feel worse than you do now or to reopen old wounds that have somewhat healed. Read some of the post about BPD exes contacting people they abandoned, they are usually not happy about it. I thought I would be happy when mine finally made contact but she just wanted me to be her butt monkey again since she didn't have anyone at the time which is depressing to me. Just when you start to get a tiny bit better they contact you to bring you right back down and confuse you. Happened to me recently

I think in life things go in cycles.  You know bad news happens in threes kind of idea.  I know in my life bad things have always happened on labor day weekend.  One of my friends had her grandfather died on Valentines.  Then her husband of 20 years left her on a different Valentines.  So for her February is always a bad month.  Don't know why just know it is.

I dont know if its seasonal or not. But I could look back and see that every year we would be broke up almost that same time every years. Most of the times it was just days apart. Would be the same month but diffrent days. Thats very weird never thought about it.
