I have been NC for 2 years now.

It feels so good.

I haven't seen her or heard from her outside of the occasional fake Facebook or Google plus profile trying to add me. Her attempts to break NC generally come in waves and she is so low functioning that Facebook is all she can do. She hermits in her house for days obsessing and stalking people using the internet.

It took a restraining order to really distance from her in the first year NC. She has been vile the whole time. I ignored it. She using fake email addresses has contacted my professional peers all over the world trying to ruin my reputation. Most have ignored it and few have bothered to even mention it to me. They say they always knew it was her because of how outrageous the claims were via email. Everyone knew about her as I had no shame in sharing a bit about my experience to my close friends.

I have learned now that she is about 2000 miles away on a new source. She is the kind of person who really ruins her reputation in a town acting so unstable so she will likely be a town to town person her entire life. That keeps her moving away and away Smiling (click to insert in post) a person who knows of her from college gave me this update. Knowing I kept NC so long and that she is so far a way now had me out for a celebration dinner.

Life is 400% better now. Regardless of missing her or wondering how she was I have kept myself completely invisible.

You have to maintain NC!

Good work - I'm at 1 1/4 years. Ot get's better.

Mine was a "runner" too. Funny thing: she gave me the book "Wherever You Go, There You Are". I gave it back to her when she left.
