It's funny that you bring that up because I've been reading up on affirmations. I read this particular quote by Thomas Edison: "I have not failed. I've just found 1000 ways that won't work".

I love that one Myself. All illusions of what I thought were or ever will be have sadly been exhausted. A new era brings excitement, understanding, and freedom, huh?

Agreed. But it's important to ensure that we learned what we needed in the last chapter. We can't really learn multiplication until we understand addition.
We can't learn love, until we understand the crap behind why we accepted and reaccepted and reaccepted... . being with a pwBPD.
