Tuesday morning, my whole world came crashing.

The love of my life had passed away during his sleep.

In a few hours, I will be saying my last goodbyes... .I cannot understand how I'm supposed to say goodbye to my best friend, confident and love of my life and move on... .how do you say goodbye to your soul mate of 20 years?

I'm completely overwhelmed with grief and pain. People keep reminding me that he no longer suffers from any struggles and he's free of all his torments, but selfishly, I want him with me so I know it will be ok.

I hope you you if d just a smidgen in comfort in knowing your loss has effected me, and I feel nothing but love and empathy for you. My heart is breaking for you.  Words fail at easing any of the horrific pain and shock you are dealing with, but please know that I am thinking of you.

I'm sorry for your loss, Foreverhopefull

This has got to be hard; please know that we are all pulling for you to find peace soon.

And I do believe that he is now free of his struggles, torment and sadness, and in a much, much better place... .
