So I got over my BPD ex a few months ago, was making new friends, going on dates, and started a new career.

Then I slept with her and things my other relationships started to crumble. Then she came and visited for two weeks in a row and I felt so loved and special. After the second weekend, "her grandma died" and she needed time to heal. Four weeks later, she still barely even talks to me.

I've realized that she has been treating me exactly like the ex she was cheating on me with. I've become that guy, and I am really struggling to form other relationships now. Pretty much I have to start all over with this healing process. I believed it would be different and I could keep my emotional distance and I was wrong. My therapist even encouraged me to be friends with her...
