I spent like 13 years with my BPD ex-gf and she was hard on me about everything. Not to mention abusive to me. As time went on I became more of a perfectionist and narcissist. I can be hard on myself about everything, even my lack of success with being easy on myself. It makes it so hard to make any progress in life whatsoever. What are some tips you guys have? Maybe changing what I do and being easy on myself with them? Since new things I haven't identified as something that frustrate me, yet. IDK, I'm kind of at a loss here.

Date yourself.
If that makes any sense
Remember all this things you would do for your ex to make her feel so special? The way you would talk to her? Conciously do that to your self. Use that voice you used with your ex too like perfect bf and parent.
I've done that before and it got me to a place I was really confident and it attracted women too.
Eventually that voice will become your internal dialogue.
