Hello All
I have been strict NC from my BPDx since July but found out last night someone sent spam to every email address in my PC. I have sent emails to her when we were together so I am almost sure she got one too. I don't want her to think that I am looking for a lame excuse to contact her by sending a fake email ( I didn't send it ). It bothers me that my NC has possibly been compromised. So far I have not heard from her but I am feeling some anxiety that she may get the impression that I am starting to weaken from NC, this could not be further from the truth. Any advice?
Is your ex on your address book?
You have a computer virus one that attaches itself to your address book and is sending through SMTP ( Send Mail Transfer Protocol ) to your contacts.
Scan your computer with your anti-virus program. You didn't break NC, viruses are a part of technology. Be careful or whomever in your household when you download programs, click on pop-ups on websites or open ANY executable programs in your e-mails. I hope that helps.
