I didn't know what I was going to do after my exBPD left. The reality is six months after her leaving I met a beautiful lady on here, who understands all of this. Unlike my friends I've tried to talk to. So there is life out there after going through hell.

No truer words were ever spoken !
Anyone who either has a:
1. Calm persona 2. Ounce of integrity 3. Speck of empathy 4. Gram of dignity and respect for others 5. an opinion that stays the same, or 6. even just a heartbeat
is better than my ex!

This was a genuine realisation I had when I worried I wouldn't be able to meet anyone as good as my ex (still in the fog, a while back).
I thought, I will have to downgrade, I won't find anyone as hot as her.
Then I realised, almost anyone would be an "upgrade" from a BPD
regardless of "hotness" - simply anyone not mentally ill will be an upgrade. The only way is up

I am enjoying the relationship with myself... .hiking with friends, motorcycling... .pouring myself in to my photography and just building new relationships with in my workplace and beyond. I can pursue all of these interests that I have (financially and time investment), in a way that I never could if in a relationship. Not even looking around or interested in any dating after what I have been through... .but yes... .there is life. Lots of it!
