Where do I start

Where do I start , I really want to tell you guys on here my experiences with a girl I met 18 years ago, that up until 3 months ago when I found this site, and WOW what a great bunch of people that helped me and I mean literally helped me leave and become a better and happier person by just reading your posts.
I don't want to write a long story because I'll get lost and miss things out, but I feel if I wrote it more slowly you will see and get a feel for this disorder and predict behaviours.
Within 3 months of finding this site and reading your posts I was gone and free... .I'm amazed I really am... .but where do I start and I mean in a how do I tell the story? From beginning or last 3 months?
Shall I just write it on my iPad? And post it in a years time?

Welcome to the boards. I am sorry about the relationship. troubles. However, I am glad to hear that you have found the information on the site helpful.
If you click SETTINGS an the menu bar, it will take you to your account settings. Under account settings, you will see a panel on the left labeled MODIFY PROFILE. In that panel, you will find MODIFY PROFILE INFORMATION. There you will find fields where you can share your story, and other members can easily find it by navigating to your profile.
So you were in a relationship for 18 years and have been separated for 3 months?
What type of relationship?

Thans for the help my friend... .The type of relationship I was involved with was sheer silent treatment type.Passive/aggressive. It was torture at times, sometimes 6 months worth and this was why we lived together with 2 kids, this happened at least 5 times overall.

I see. I am sorry about that. Six months of silence must have been difficult to endure.
