VIDEO: "What is parental alienation?" Parental alienation is when a parent allows a child to participate or hear them degrade the other parent. This is not uncommon in divorces and the children often adjust. In severe cases, however, it can be devastating to the child. This video provides a helpful overview.

(possible) Bpd ex of 2 years lives in another state and booked a very expensive flight to come visit me (flight confirmed) and then no-showed the flight due to illness. I was supposed to pick up at the airport and was not informed that he wouldn't be there until I contacted him that afternoon... .we were texting a lot every day since and suddenly now he tells me he's been talking to another girl and now won't text back or call back. I've thrown my hands up at this point... .Sound familiar to anyone?

Are you sure he really had a ticket? I also know that when my ex BPD came to visit, it took everything in her power to actually make it to the plane on time. It took her two attempts before she could get her act together to make the flight.

Doesn't sound surprising to me. If you stop trying to contact him, at some point, he will see if he can get back under your skin. It's a power thing.

Just my 2 cents.

Yes, it sounds familiar.

The only thing that we can do is take care of us and move away from their sick game.
