Seems to be common for them to choose or be involved people who are older then them. I'm ten years older then she is, and she mentioned she prefers older men.

Older indeed. I was 10 years older than my ex. My replacement was almost 12 years older. His replacement is roughly 9 years older. Additionally, both are multiple rungs lower on the economic ladder as well compared to her ex-husband who is toward the top of the compensation food chain as a private equity attorney. There seems to be a trend/theme developing here... .

BPD do not care about the age of their target(partner) because they primarily looking for narcissistic supply in the relationship. they view us as an accessory that is required and not as love partner. so anyone could become a partner regardless of age,looks,etc... .

9 yrs older. One of her replacements was 14 years older. She said she likes older guys. I think she thinks older guys are more stable.

Just to add to this. In the relationship did you end up or do you feel you have taken on more of a parental role than that of a partner no matter what the age gap?

She was 6 years older but sometimes I really had the feeling that I was dealing with a little girl instead of a woman.
