Toxic mother :/

Hello all!
A little background on me, im 24 and after my sweet daughter was born 10 months ago i decided i had enough of my mothers behavior. Especially because she had started threatening to take my daughter away from me. So i just recently decided to seek therapy to deal with my mother who I thought was a narcissist, but talking with my thearpists she suggested that my mother might have BPD. Looking more into it, it makes a lot of sense.
So if anyone has any advice for an adult children of a mother with BPD I'd love to hear it!

Welcome ChantellePlamond:
It must have been very disturbing to have your mom threaten to take your daughter away. What other disturbing behavior does she have?
There are some good links to helpful information to the upper right of this post. The links below lead to some specific information that will likely be helpful as well:

As a parent, that sounds scary to me. What led up to her threats?

Narcissism and BPD are very similar, you did well to twig so early on. Feel free to post questions or vent frustrating behaviour. What behaviour are you currently finding challenging ?

Hello and welcome
How are you feeling now ?
Do you live alone, apart from your mum ? Do you have a partner ?
It's wonderful that you sought help. I wish I'd had done that at your age (I'm 37 now). Well done
