Not sure where I fit-Sister in law with BPD, please read on

Hi- my situation is as follows. My Sister in law has undiagnosed BPD, as she won't get help and help is there, but the other layer is the my younger brother couldn't cope with her BPD and committed suicide. My niece who is 13 is caught in the crossfire and is wanting to live with my family (me, my husband and our 5 yr old daughter). So I guess I am co-parenting with a same sex parent, estranged from my family... .let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!

I'd like to welcome you to  bpdfamily. I'm so sporry to hear about your brother. What a tough spot to be in if you're caught in the cross-fire. What's going with ex-SIL? If your niece doesn't want to stay with her bio mom, there must be a lot of conflict with mom? How is your niece coping? Is she seeing a counselor or a T?
