Hi all,

I've been researching residential treatment centers for my finace. She is borderline and also suffers from depression and anxiety. She lost her job in December and has been getting worse since. We are also planning for a wedding in April. I believe the stress of the wedding planning plus not having a job is causing her to spiral.

She really wants to get into treatment, but so far, even the most promising places seem to have poor reviews. She's getting deflated about not being able to find treatment. She was hoping to find a residential facility that serve as intensive short-term (30 days) treatment then continue with outpatient. I have a couple questions:

1. Residential treatment: Does anyone have experience (good or bad) with Sierra Tucson or Malibu Vista? Are there any other facilities you recommend?

2. What's your view of residential vs partial hospitalization or outpatient?

Thanks in advance

Have you contacted www.nyp.org/BPDresourcecenter? It's local.
