Welcome Tatdmom33,
I love him more than anything and want it to work for us, just need support I guess... .
Hopeful but it hurts
constantly watching yourself and walking on eggshells is exhausting . What is he doing that is upsetting you the most? Where do you struggle? Sharing problems by writing them out helps a lot already. There is actually more on this site that goes way beyond sharing and talking. If you take a look at the LESSONs there are workshops on skill building. Dealing with a persons suffering from BPD often requires to behave in certain ways - healthy ways that are to some of us initially not natural or ways we have unlearned in the course of the tumultuous relationship and have to relearn. By reflecting on our behavior and getting feedback from others we can improve a lot our coping and communication ability.
In any case a good way to get started is sharing a little more and engaging with situations you can relate to that others are dealing with.
