My take away:  I am free when I take responsibility for my life regardless of what happened in the past.  I have the power to choose.  I can control my emotions and own my triggers.  I get to determine my life.

I am no longer prepared to spend time with anyone incapable of showing others respect (unless there are huge amounts of money involved).

My therapist is moving out of town after giving me 8 years of caring kind therapy. I have looked at myself from nearly every angle possible and uncovered layer after layer of pain which I have bravely processed. I decided 8 years ago that I was so frustrated by how immature I was and by how badly my family treated me that I needed to see a therapist. I think I can give myself a huge pat on the back for growing beyond what I thought possible and making it my life mission to be the best person I can be while supporting others in being the best people they can be.

Give yourself something in a treat that brings you joy too zachira.  Something just for you.  Maybe something you normally wouldn't give to yourself but would really love to have.  You deserve it for working so hard!

Wow, a duet AND compliments on my chrome and healthcare   Thank you, that's high praise.  

I will get better at graciously accepting kind words in my general direction.

As for what a Quinn is, I've no idea! Although I did find this usable excerpt on Urban Dictionary... .

Respect is a core value for me too, so I think we could maybe add a guaranteed short time frame, like 5 minutes, plus the notes to that boundary
