If you could give one word of advice for Nons, with respect to BPD, what word would you choose?

Above all... .
Self care, self love
(A whole sentence may be needed to convey a thought... .or the thought may be missed?)

1) trust your gut
2) if this person has had a substantially crazier romantic life than you rest assured you will be another sideshow in their circus. Get out now.

Wake-Up!
As in start evaluating things with your head and not your heart. It was very hard for mE as my uBPDxw had me so mind F¥€KED that I truly believe that I was brain washed. I still feel like I have PTSD symptoms from coming to the reality that there was no REALITY with who she portrayed herself to be. Waking up so the FOG will start to lift.

Forgive
Find compassion
OK, that was more than one word; your rules are so tough Tim! But hey, at least now I can get a word in edgewise... .

But at what point? Before, or during relationship if any?
Going into a RS with the knowledge that the person has BPD because they were up front. I'd have to say, enter at your own risk and educate yourself.
Already being in a RS without the knowledge that the person has BPD because they didn't know or lied to you. I'd have to say, educate yourself and evaluate if the risks are worth staying. (I'd wanna say run for the hills, but saying that to someone in love may only make them resent your opinion)
We can also be killed crossing the street.

It would be interesting to take these words of advice for the non-disordered and make a word cloud with a site like wordle. The more a word shows up it gives it more prominence.
I'd be interested to see what that word cloud looks like.
