Less experienced, more naive confidantes will express sorrow and offer consolation:)) He will be a graceful victim, with the right dose of self-criticism (usually one word:)) and then will forgive me in front of them.

I am most happy about being with someone now who I love.  Met my current wife about a year after the breakup with my exBPDgf.  It's been three and a half years since that time.  During that time I worked on myself, met the woman of my dreams and married her.  I am also grateful that I bit the bullet of being with someone who was all drama all the time.  It changed me as a person.  But now I am in a much better place with my wife and it feels amazing.
