I think I actually forgot about her birthday until the next day. I was like "Oh wow, her birthday would have been yesterday."

Although in the future, I might avoid drinking if I were you. If it's this hard, it's best to stay sober.

Read "its called a breakup because its broken". Then get a breakup buddy and give them your phone. It helps me in weak moments.

I managed to not text her while drunk. Thank God. Was out with some buddies, so getting smashed was inevitable.  The bar tender ended up having the hots for me, so that was a good distraction.  Thanks fellas.
