Working on Codependency issues

Hello everyone
Working with my therapist today on CD issues, I only see her about once a month now, I'm doing so well I don't need more time together.
She is happy for me, asking me today if I realized how far I had come in my recovery. I am aware and so grateful for everyone who helped. This site has had a huge influence on my ability to deal with my exgf and the support I've received is invaluable.
Thank you all so very very much.
I had something funny happen today, the nurse who gave me my chemo shot said something and I told him how my sponsor checks my attitude. The nurse asked if I were friends with Bill, I didn't realize what he was talking about then he said Bill W. of AA. Oh? Duh, anyway he was happy I was in recovery for my addiction and cancer.
Heard a lot of good news today, numbers for the cancer are so low they don't really matter to the doc, just have to contend with the side effects of chemo.
Realized how crazy and sick my relationship with my exgf was, therapist was happy I'm better at not reacting to her.
Went to Alanon tonight, great group of friends there too.
I'm a pretty blessed man, I always was, I just didn't have eyes to see just how much.
Have a great night everyone, God bless
